Five Roads Brewing Co.
Happy Details
Five Roads Brewing Co. is a great place to take your kids. The staff is super welcoming to families. In fact, they’ve gone out of their way to make young families feel at home by providing clip on high chairs, colouring books, and a great selection of board games. Jenga and Connect 4 are perfect for the younger kids, but there is something for every age. We love to come here during Happy Hour (where you currently get $1 off your beer of choice) to play a game, and have a drink and some food.
While they don’t have a “Kid’s Menu” per say, their menu is full of kid approved food like Pizza (we highly recommend the Calabrese), Hummus with tortilla chips, pita & olives, Panini sandwiches with chips & pickles, or soft baked pretzels, to name a few.
Parents will appreciate that Five Roads takes their beer seriously, and makes a darn fine pint. Best of all they’re super knowledgeable about their beer, and make sure you find your perfect fit. Our current favourites are the Permanent Resident IPA and the Whiplash Wit, but they’re coming out with some solid contenders! Last time we were there we tried their “Brew Kids on the Block” Passion Fruit and Mango Sour. While Sours aren’t usually our thing, this one goes down nice and easy.
Beer isn’t your thing? No problem. They’ve also got San Pellegrino, cider, and wine. Plus, they offer a fun alternative to alcohol with their Kombucha. Kids get a kick out of trying it too!
We highly recommend you take a trip to Five Roads Brewing Co. ASAP. Give it a try, and let us know what you think. We'd love to hear your opinion. Cheers!
